I’ve been thinking A LOT about the holistic healing and energy work journey I have walked. I feel soooooo grateful on soooooo many levels because the wisdom from hundreds of courses, tens of thousands of sessions, YEARS of implementing what I learned….has elevated my life (and those of others) on EVERY LEVEL!
What was once “learning” is now a beautiful way of being.
Balanced living
Youthful health, well-being and wholeness in my body
Joy, gratitude and deep appreciation for all that is present in my life
Overflowing abundance
Clarity and soul - aligned direction
Strong body, mind and connection to Source
These are just the top ones that come to mind…..
Today I want to share with you some things I do every spring to gently cleanse and support my body….
Most people know the healthy benefits of dandelions now! They grow everywhere….and are very versatile! The kids and I were out picking flowers and leaves to add to our salad every day. And I dug up the roots to make a roasted dandelion tea (tastes like mild coffee).
I also came across a delicious recipe for Dandelion Syrup:
place a handful of dandelion flowers in a small mason jar
fill the jar half with clean, spring water
fill the other half with honey and maple syrup
add the lid and shake. Let it sit in the fridge for 2-3 weeks
strain the flowers and use as syrup in tea or homemade lemonade!
Dandelions gently cleanse and lovingly support the liver - the organ that works sooooo hard and takes a beating every day in modern life.
From a vibrational perspective the yellow of the flower restores life force and energy to our Solar Plexus chakra - bringing light from the sun - “solar” light into the body!
Tending to our internal - thought landscape is just as important as tending to anything else.
Our thoughts can influence how we feel….How our hormones work….And what action we take (or do not take).
I have said to clients for over 20 years, “Mind your mind. Tend to your thoughts and if you’re not enjoying how you’re feeling or what you’re seeing around….change what you’re thinking. Refocus.”
This is even more important today - with 5G signals and social media fast-swiping, content all day, every day - bombarding the body and the mind we are starting to feel overwhelmed and over-filled.
This is a great moment (and day) to pause the scroll for a moment….go outside bare feet, connect to mama-earth and your breath and choose 1 beautiful mantra to repeat for at least 90 seconds.
You will feel re-aligned, re-invigorated and “more like you”….you know…that vibrant, joyful, playful, peaceful you?!?!!
